The Effects of a Fiber-Rich Nutritional Supplement, Bios Life Slim, on the Glycemic and Insulin Index of Three Common Starchy Foods
Human Study
Unicity Research
Bios Life Slim was consumed with white bread, white rice, and instant mashed potatoes to evaluate its effect on post-meal glucose and insulin responses. The supplement lowered the glycemic index of all three foods from the “high” to “medium” range and also reduced their insulin index. The findings showed that Bios Life Slim dampened glucose and insulin responses to common starchy foods.
